Publisher's Descriptions
TRaNGen is a flexible Random Number Generator that can create true or pseudo random numbers using various software and/or hardware devices. It can create binary, ASCII, CSV, and bitmap files using a variety of number types. Number types are 8, 15, 16, 31, and 32 bit unsigned integer types, single and double precision reals, and 24 bit color for bitmaps. TRaNGen can create random number files as large as 1 GB and as many as 9,999 files in a single job. TRaNGen can be used to create One-Time-Pad (OTP) media for use with our email encryption software using unbreakable OTP encryption (Cryptra). We recommend using the Araneus Alea I True Random Number Generator USB device for this purpose, and the Alea I device is supported by TRaNGen.

TRaNGen has a new Pseudo Random Number Generator (PRNG) that randomly combines the streams from two different PRNGs. Random numbers are selected randomly in random amounts from two different PRNG streams. Our tests show that it works very well. TRaNGen is fully functional with the Microsoft pseudo random number generator Rnd() activated. Other Random Number Generators require registration.
